Bloomingdale - Ethel Faye Pickett, 79, died at 3:55 a.m. Thursday (Feb 26, 1981) Thursday in the Parke County Nursing Home. Mrs. Pickett was a member of the Bloomingdale United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Born March 18, 1901 at Oakwood, Illinois, she was a daughter of Elsworth and Nora Ann Kennedy McCalmet. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Harkey of Bloomingdale and Mrs. Mary Lewellen of Waveland; two sons, Ted Pickett of Champaign, Ill and John Pickett of Alamo; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Elsworth McCalmet of Camby and Ted McCalmet of C rawfordsville and a sister, Mrs. Lucille Beasley of Terre Haute. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin. Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday in Barnes Mortuary at Rockville. Burial will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Friday. -- kbz
